The Independent Mystery Booksellers Association’s nominees for this year’s Dilys Award (an annual award given to the mystery titles of the year which the member booksellers most enjoyed selling and named after Dilys Winn—founder of the first specialty bookstore of mystery books in the United States) were announced. SAVAGES: A Novel by Don Winslow (Simon & Schuster, 9781439183366) is one of the six nominees. The award will be presented at the Left Coast Crime convention in March 2011.
